Chicago’s poetry scene is eclectic, sprawling and thriving. There are the old, steadfast pillars of the poetry community: literary journals, readings, libraries and luddites. But there are also groups of people across Chicago who are passionately and steadfastly approaching poetry in a new way–one that is innovative, interactive and sometimes just plain fun. This project explores some of the old and the new within Chicago’s current poetry community.
